So as you might know, I made it to the final of the English Hair and Beauty Awards recently and on Sunday I actually won the award for Specialist Freelance Makeup Artist of the Year! I am so overwhelmed and have spent the last 2 days going through all of my lovely messages of support and wishes from family, friends and clients. I was competing against some amazing talent including a celebrity Makeup Artist so I was just grateful to reach the final. I did not anticipate winning so I am thrilled.
I am very proud of my business and I want to always provide the best quality of service to my clients.
This award now recognises my hard work, dedication and passion and I aim to continue getting bigger and better including offering additional services to makeup… more about that soon.
The awards took place at The Mercure Picadilly Hotel in Manchester and the evening recognised salons, spas, nail technicians, hairdressers and other industry professionals from all over the UK.
I now know all of the best places to go for treatments 🙂 The North East did very well at these awards and I’m proud to add mine to the collection. We have some amazingly talented creatives in the area.
I also took my support crew to the event in the shape of my husband Neil, my mum Chris and my mother in law Jan. It was fantastic sharing my achievement with those who always support me unconditionally…
