Recently, I asked my social media followers if they had any topics they wanted me to review/research etc and one of the issues that was suggested was skin care using alternative products rather than typical over the counter moisturisers for example. Apricot Facial Scrub – 60ml
I used the facial scrub first to exfoliate my skin. It was very creamy and had a very pleasant smell (of apricots surprisingly) and is made up of apricot kernel oil and olive stones. I only used a small amount of this product – it really went a long way. A nice product to prep skin!
Seaweed and Aloe Eye Gel – 60ml
I loved this gel. It can be used as an eye makeup remover however I chilled it in the fridge and it was very refreshing under my eyes. I often suffer with tired eyes and felt this really helped to sooth them. This product is made up of herbal extracts.
Rejuvenating Gel with Rose – 60ml
I used this after using the facial scrub and applying the eye cream. It soaked in my skin quickly and had a very pleasant smell. As it is a gel it felt very light on my skin and is made with essential oils and herbal extracts. It also promises to combat fine lines and wrinkles… time will tell!
Frankincense and Rose Face Cream – 60ml
I LOVE this cream! The biggest selling point of this product is the amazing long lasting smell. The smell is very distinctive and made me feel like I had just had a treatment in a very expensive spa. The cream also soaked in to my skin easily and didn’t feel greasy – always a bonus for me if I am using face creams on my makeup clients. The ingredients in this product mean it is very nourishing and therefore especially good for dry or mature skin. I can’t recommend this highly enough.
Lemon Thyme and Tea Tree Lip Balm – 30ml
Again I loved this product. Made up of pure essential oils of Lemon Thyme, Tea Tree and Olive Oil it felt very nourishing immediately. I have tried home made organic lip balms before and this is definitely the nicest. The consistency feels thick but soaks in quickly and leaves a nice sheen on the lips like a gloss.
