We are living in a video call culture right now…
Whether you are spending your days working from home, hopping from video call to video call, or whether you are just using Zoom to catch up with friends and family, we are all feeling the need to at least have the top half of our bodies looking like we have our lives together (when really we are all wearing our pyjama bottoms and novelty slippers under the desk). Don’t pretend otherwise… we’re all doing it!
Time is always a precious commodity and applying makeup can feel like an extra chore…
I hear you! Infact, even as a professional makeup artist, you’ll rarely find me preening my face for 60 minutes applying makeup for every day wear. I am a minimalist when it comes to my own face… and I really love makeup. I love creating glam looks on my clients and getting creative… but I am also aware when it comes to applying your own makeup day to day, some of you lead very busy lives. Whether its working long days, looking after children or caring for loved ones, makeup just isn’t a priority BUT even wearing a tiny bit can make us feel better and build our confidence… making us feel ready to take on the day.
So, let me show you its ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE to apply a full face of makeup in under 10 minutes…
I know it’s hard to believe… but I have done it and I am showing you how I did it so you can see for yourself. Everything from skin prep, foundation, eye makeup, lips, brows and even highlighter! Full application in just under 7 minutes. So if you think you can’t spare 30 minutes to put your makeup on, how about 10 minutes? That should include reaching for your makeup bag, getting everything out, applying it and tidying it away again. Fact.
I do offer bespoke makeup lessons if you need help polishing up your own makeup application or simply looking to update your look (and your makeup bag).
Do you want to see the results for yourself?
Check out my latest article in British Bride magazine here – which includes a video of my application and product breakdown. Let me know what you think…
